Collecting For Riley

By Staff Report-

Students from Madison and Harrison elementary schools recently gathered outside Walmart to collect money for Riley Hospital for Children. All of the elementary schools are doing or have recently done a fundraiser for Riley. Warsaw Community Schools has a list of adopted core values as part of its strategic plan. This fundraising activity aligns with three of those core values: 1. Every individual has something to contribute. 2. People have life-changing power. 3. Giving of time, talent and resources is vital to the well-being of the community. Many of the students said they wanted to do that kind of thing again. Walmart allowed the use of its facility. Pictured are students from Madison and Harrison, Harrison Principal Lee Snider and adults Tami Miller, Jeanne Phipps and Amy Swihart.[[In-content Ad]]
