 William and Linda Cochran will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. May 21 at the Mentone Town Hall hosted by their children.
Bill and the former Linda Besson were married May 20, 1961, at the home of the bride’s parents by Harold  Driscoll of Mentone Church of Christ.
They both graduated from Mentone High School and have lived all their lives in the Mentone area.
Bill retired from NIPSCO in 1993, and Linda from the Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. (Mentone School) in 1993.
The couple have two daughters, Leisa (and spouse Michael) Norman, Akron, and Laura (and spouse Jeffery) Felzien, South Bienna, Ohio; and two granddaughters.
