Herbert and Nancy Coble, North Manchester, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary June 25, 2009. Herbert and the former Nancy West were married June 25, 1954, at Zion Lutheran Church, North Manchester, with the Rev. Homer Ogle officiating.

He is a retired farmer and she retired from Manchester Tool & Die.

The couple have two children, Karen (and spouse Billy) Reffitt, Pierceton, and Laura Ross, South Whitley; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
