Clunette Elevator

Editor, Times-Union:
This month the Anglin family and their employees at Clunette Elevator are celebrating 60 years of being in business serving our community. Over these years, the business has changed and evolved to keep up with the changing needs of the farmers of Kosciusko County and the surrounding area. The things that seem not to change are that the church pew in the entrance is always full early in the morning with friends and local farmers (active or retired) talking about the weather, grain prices and whether the Cubs won or lost.

I think we could retire the national debt if we had a dollar for every time laughter rang out in the so-called Clunette Town Hall.

Congratulations to the Anglins and Clunette Elevator for your business success over the 60 years, but most of all for doing business by the Golden Rule and giving back to the community which you serve.
