KC Duplicate Bridge met Jan. 31, with eight teams competing. Carol Pringle and Charlie Haffner won first place with Charlie Ker and Rick Helm taking the runnerup spot. Steve Glova and Randy Kleinhans finished third.
The club also met Tuesday with five teams competing. Winners were Carol Pringle, Charlie Haffner and Ginny and Terry Witzky with Isobel Pfeiffer and Lucile Brannon taking second place.

Ramada Inn Wed. Night Bridge Met
Ramada Inn Wednesday Night Bridge had three tables playing with the following winners: Tony Frazzetta, Charlie Ker, Janet Wagley and Elaine Loser. Wagley is the hostess for February.
Ramada Plaza Ladies Bridge Played
The Ramada Plaza Ladies Bridge Club met Thursday with five tables playing. Winners were Buthene Fuller, Joan Kizer, Irma Swank, Irene Clay and Betty Walston.
Fuller was the hostess.
Tuesday Afternoon Bridge Group Met
The Tuesday Afternoon Bridge Group met at Stacy’s Restaurant. Winners were Peg Muzzillo, Mary Prescott, Sandy McLean and Carrollee Allen.
Stonehenge Ladies Bridge Met
The Stonehenge Ladies Bridge met Wednesday afternoon and the winners were Peg Zimmerman, Mary Steele, Joyce Stockman, Maxine Harris and Pat Brown.
N. Webster Bridge Group Played
NORTH WEBSTER – The North Webster Bridge group met at the Senior Primelife Enrichment Center in the North Webster Community Center Tuesday. Winners were Sally Keith, first, and Richard Blank, second.
Kosc. Kettleheads To Meet
The Kosciusko Kettleheads homebrew club will meet Sunday at 3 p.m. at Mad Anthony’s Lake City Taphouse. Any current or former homebrewers are welcome and anyone interested in learning the fine art of fermentation are encouraged to attend.

The Kettleheads meet the second Sunday of every month. The March meeting will be on the 11th.
Kosc. Co. Extension Homemakers Met
PIERCETON – The Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers of Pierceton met at the home of Edna Bryant for a meeting Monday at 1 p.m.
Nine members answered roll call and three guests. Ann McConnell, Sandra Kennedy and Deanna Myers of the Herscher Extension Homemakers.
President Edna Bryant opened the meeting with the “Pledge to the Flag” and the creed “We Believe”. She also had the thought for the day “A Child is Born”.
The health report was given by Juanita Buler that salmon helps ward off depression.
The garden report was given by Edna on moving your plants to windows to get more sun.
Betty Rose Stahl had an article on vitamin D and its uses.
They had a nomination of officers. They stay the same for another year.
Edna was the hostess and served a delicious fruit tart.
The next meeting will be March 5 and the hostess will be Stahl.
Singles Meeting Friends Gathered
Everybody had a great time during happy hour with the Singles at Hacienda Wednesday evening.
Susanne got the evening off to a good start by stating that there was a good turnout for game night at Martin’s last Friday evening. She then moved on to new business.
Today a Valentine’s dance will be at the North Webster American Legion and will dance to The Classics. Dinner will be from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost per person is $17.50 and a couple is $35. The group will meet there around 8 p.m.
Sunday in Fort Wayne will be a singles dance. If you are interested in going, contact Susanne for more information.
Susanne helped us celebrate the February birthdays by serving cupcakes.
