Kettleheads Homebrew To Meet
The Kosciusko Kettleheads Homebrew Club will meet Sunday at 3 p.m. at Mad Anthony's Lake City Taphouse. Those interested in the fine art of fermentation are invited to attend and all current, former or potential brewers are welcome. The Kettleheads meet the second Sunday of every month. The October meeting will be on the 11th.

Cookbook Club At WCPL
Cookbook Club at Warsaw Community Public Library will meet Monday at 10 a.m. This month we will be discussing "Vegetarian Dishes." Bring some of your favorite recipes and a dish to share if you want.
This club meets every month with different topics each time. Call 574-267-6011 for more information.           

Wednesday Night Bridge Results
On Wednesday night there were  five tables with the following winners: Carol Pringle, Tom Anderson, Virginia Horn, Joyce Latta, John Wagley and David Haines.
John and Janet Wagley are host and hostess for September.

Four Seasons Ladies Bridge Results
The Four Seasons ladies bridge met Wednesday at the Wyndham Garden Hotel. Winners were Maxine Harris, Sharon Tuttle, Nanette Newland and Sondra Dicken.

TLCC Bridge Results
The Tippecanoe Lake Country Club met Wednesday for ladies bridge. Winners were Barb Johnson, Gayle Atkins and Ven Endsley.

North Webster Bridge Results
 The North Webster Bridge group met at the Senior Primelife Enrichment Center in the North Webster Community Center on Tuesday and Thursday.  
Tuesday winners were Sally Keith, first, and Sue Holloway, second  Winners Thursday were Barb Hedrick, first, and Andy Overmyer, second.

Wyndham Garden Bridge Results
The Wyndham Garden ladies bridge met Thursday with four tables playing. Winners were Ann Thallemer, Mary Eherenman, Sharon Tuttle and June Stealy. Sharon Holtz was the hostess.

KC Duplicate Results
KC Duplicate met at the Connection on Tuesday. Winners were John and Janet Wagley and Duane and Beth Huffer.

Retired Teachers Met
The Kosciusko County Retired Teachers met at Miller's Senior Living Center Tuesday. Co-President Deb Satterley called the group to order, Grace Lovelady played piano and two newly retired teachers attended, Anne Slaughter and Jeanne Woods.
Following lunch, and the business meeting, Pam Harris of Real Services of Northern Indiana shared support and help for adults to enable them to continue living independently. Contact the Warsaw office, 401 E. Center St. for questions.
The new website committee announced that Sara Hawblitzel will be the web master. Save the date Oct. 13, 2015, for the next meeting and the presentation of the website. Door prizes were won by Jean Kerlin, Wayne Cumberland and Brenda Houtz.
KCRT annual dues are $10 lunch is $5. Meetings are the second Tuesday of October, May, July and September. If you know a newly retired teacher, please offer them a personal invitation to our October meeting.

AAUW Meeting Information
The first meeting of the 66th year of the Warsaw branch of the American Association of University Women will be  at 10 a.m. Sept. 19 at Parkview Warsaw YMCA.
Co-Hostesses are LuAnn Christoffel, Marsha Cook, Doris Cook, Rosemary Parker, Cindy Nolton and Jane Wear.  A program, "Opportunities at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA" will be presented by Stacy Thomas and Tal Seiger.
AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.  Membership is open to anyone with an associate or equivalent RN or higher degree from an accredited college or university.  Undergraduate students may also join through the Shape the Future Membership Campaign.  Kosciusko County guests and prospective members are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting.

Toastmaster Speech Contest Info
The public is invited to attend the Area 13 Toastmaster's Humorous Speech Contest.  It will be held on Tuesday, at the Warsaw City Hall Chambers meeting room, 102 S. Buffalo St.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and contest starts at 7 p.m.
Visit to learn about your local toastmasters clubs and hear some entertaining speeches.  Call Shelly at 574-527-6641 for more information.

Singles Meeting Friends
It was a very pleasant evening as we met at Martins for our weekly meeting at 6:30 p.m. There were several in attendance. There was some interesting conversation about airplanes and the operation of them.
Some of the group attended the Blueberry Festival last weekend. It was a lot of fun and also very hot.
Linda M. brought cake to celebrate the birthdays of the month. Linda E. read some of Howard's stories about “Secrets Guys Wish You Knew.”
Men Don't Pick Up On Subtle Cues
Men are more likely to miss subtle signals like tone of voice or facial expressions. They are especially likely to miss sadness on a woman's face. If you want to make sure your guy gets the message be direct.
Men Respond To Appreciation
Showing appreciation for your guy can make a big difference in the way he acts. Parenting studies show that fathers are more involved care-giving when their wives  value their involvement and see them as competent.
He's Vested In You
Most men realize there's a lot to lose if a long-term  relationship goes sour – not just each other's company, but the entire life you've built together. If  you' re  willing to work to strengthen your marriage, chances are your man will be too.
