He was born June 14, 1930, in Johnstown, Pa. In 1984, in Huntington, he married Pauline Branning, who died Aug. 17, 2012.
He was formerly of Fort Wayne. He was retired and formerly owned Snyder Trucking, Las Vegas, Nev. He was a member of Pierceton American Legion Post 258. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1947-50 as Seaman First Class Marine Firefighter aboard the USS Saipan.
Surviving are seven stepdaughters; four stepsons; 23 step-grandchildren; and 45 step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
