Cletus "Clete" Couture, 84, of 2112 Brookview Drive, Warsaw, died at 10:25 p.m. May 11, 2009, at Mason's Health and Rehab, Warsaw.

He was born April 14, 1925, in Burket, to Edmond and Odelia Guiff Couture. On May 17, 1947, in Fort Wayne, he married Laura Littlefield, who survives.

He was the retired owner of Executive Office Products, Warsaw, and moved back to the area from Fort Wayne in 1963. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars, all of Warsaw. He was a World War II veteran.

Also surviving are four sons: Ronald Couture, Jamestown, N.C.; Dennis Couture, Syracuse; David Couture, Fort Wayne; Jon Couture, Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.

Services will be at noon Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military graveside services.

Calling is two hours prior to the mass at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
