Mr. and Mrs. William Clare, Sonora, Ky., announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Aleisha Clare, Sonora, to Jerry Lee Davis Jr., Elizabethtown, Ky.
He is the son of Jerry Lee Davis Sr., Warsaw, and Justine and Jesse Megething, Cromwell.
The bride-to-be is a residential aide at Recovery Works of Elizabethtown. She graduated in 2008 from Central Hardin High School, Cecilia, Ky. She attended Kentucky Christian University 2008-2011, and Campbellsville University 2012-2013 where she received her CDA.
She is currently studying at Lakeside Biblical Institute for pastoral ministry.
The groom-elect is a certified sales specialist at Bob Swope Ford, Elizabethtown. He graduated from Liberty Christian Academy/home school in 2008. He is currently enrolled at Lakeside Biblical Institute for pastoral ministry.
The couple plan an April 12 wedding.
