She was born March 23, 1939, to Chleora and Mabel Winders. On June 29, 1956, she married Buddy Jo Miller.
She loved her husband of 50 years, her family and the Lord. She enjoyed gardening, photography, knitting and, most of all, doing things for others. She was a retired secretary from Elkhart Community Schools and Calvary Baptist Church, Elkhart, and was a former secretary at Northside Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Randy (and spouse Tina) Miller, Elkhart, and Chris (and spouse Anna) Miller, Warsaw; seven grandchildren: Mike, Justin, Steven, Kevin, Valentina, Karen and Robert; a great-granddaughter, Kiera; her mother, Mabel Winders Maners, Spencer; and two brothers, Jim (and spouse Sue) Winders, Spencer, and Bob (and spouse Deb) Winders, Vermont.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, 27664 CR 24, Elkhart, with Pastor Jim Parsons officiating.
There will be no calling prior to the service.
