City Council Approves Tax Abatement Compliance Review Forms

Symmetry Medical, 486 W. CR 350N, was granted a 10-year tax abatement on personal and real property in fall 2005. The completed project includes over $14 million in personal and real property improvements. It estimated adding 20 additional jobs, but have hired 54 new employees since 2004.
The council also approved continuing a 10-year tax abatement on real and personal property for Symmetry Medical from spring 2004.
The council also approved continuing:
• A 10-year tax abatement for Wildman Business Group from 2014. The tax abatement was granted toward the end of last year with the expected expenditure of $2.1 million in personal property equipment. Wildman has spent approximately $62,000 on personal property equipment to date.
• A 10-year tax abatement for R & B Investors Partnership from 2012. It has expanded its existing facility by 12,000 square feet, spent $533,000 on real and personal property improvements and created an additional 17 jobs since 2012.
• A 10-year tax abatement for Zimmer Productions Inc. from 2014 on real and personal property.
• A 10-year tax abatement on real and personal property for Zimmer USA Inc. from 2004.
• A 10-year tax abatement on real and personal property from 2004 for Zimmer Inc. in its ninth year of abatement.
• A 10-year tax abatement on real property for Zimmer Inc., 210 N. Buffalo St., in its eighth year of abatement for the Zimmer Hotel project.
• A 10-year tax abatement on real and personal property for Zimmer Inc., 1535 and 1777 W. Center St., from 2007 in its sixth year of abatement.[[In-content Ad]]
