Cheryl Lynn Hiatt, 46, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to one year in prison for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony. Pending good behavior, the sentence will be suspended as part of a plea agreement, and she will be placed on non-reporting probation.She was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Burmeister Sent To Prison
Dianna Burmeister, 39, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to four years in prison for fraud on a financial institution, a Class C felony. She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 148 days. She also was ordered to pay a $100 fine, and court costs, as well as restitution in the amount of $8,931.81. The sentence will run concurrently with the sentence imposed for case no. 43CO1-0806-FD-120. In that case, Burmeister was sentenced to 1-1/2 years in prison for auto theft, a Class D felony. She was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and $7,282.96 in restitution.
Marijuana Charge Nets Suspended Sentence
Sarah Elizabeth Hein, 30, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 1-1/2 years in prison for dealing in marijuana in an amount in excess of 30 grams, a Class D felony. She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling four days. For a second crime of neglect of a dependent, a Class D felony, she was sentenced to 1-1/2 years in prison. The sentences are suspended pending good behavior, and she will be placed on probation. As part of her probation, she must pay a $100 administrative, $100 initial and $25 monthly probation user's fees. Also as part of that probation, she must serve 10 days in the Kosciusko County Jail, with no good time credit. She was ordered to pay a $100 fine and court costs as well as a 4200 drug interdiction fee.
Riggins To Spend Year In Jail
Cory Lee Riggins, 29, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to one year in jail for possession of two or more chemical reagents or precursors with the intent to manufacture, a Class D felony. He will receive no jail time credit. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee. The sentence may be served in the Kosciusko County Work Release Program is he is accepted and qualifies.
Stouder Enters Plea Agreement
Rory T. Stouder, 27, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 1-1/2 years in prison for possession of cocaine, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days. As part of a plea agreement, the sentence will be suspended and he will be placed on probation. As part of his probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation user's fees. He also was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee. Upon the successful completion of the probationary period, the court will consider reducing the charge to a Class A misdemeanor.
West Sentenced For Sexual Misconduct With A Minor
Andrew J. West, 21, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to four years in prison for sexual misconduct with a minor, a Class C felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 136 days. The final two years of the sentence will be suspended pending good behavior, and that time will be spent on probation. As part of his probation, he was ordered to pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation user's fees. The standard terms of probation for sex offenders will be imposed. He also was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $250 sexual assault victims assistance fee. He also must register as a sex offender upon his release from prison.

Christopher Douglas Bardashian, 29, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 4 years in jail for reckless homicide, a Class C felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days. The final three years of the sentence will be suspended pending good behavior, and he will be placed on probation. As part of his probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administration and $25 monthly probation user's fees. He also was ordered to pay a $100 fine and court costs.

Jonathan Habegger, 24, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to four years in prison for possession of cocaine more than 3 grams, a Class C felony, as a lesser included offense of dealing in cocaine more than 3 grams, a Class A felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days. The final two years of the sentence will be suspended and he will be placed on probation pending good behavior. As part of his probation, he was ordered to pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and 425 monthly probation user's fees, and he will be subject to random drug testing. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.

Shandy Granados, 25, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 20 years in prison for dealing cocaine more than 3 grams, a Class A felony. She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 146 days. The final 14 years of the sentence will be suspended and she will be placed on probation. As part of her probation, she must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation user's fees. She also must pay a $100 fine, court costs and $6,100 restitution to the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force.
Shepherd Sentenced For Meth Charge
Dale Eugene Shepherd Jr., 25, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to four years in prison for possession of methamphetamine more than three grams, a Class C felony as a lesser included offense of dealing methamphetamine in an amount less than three grams. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 212 days. He also pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent, a Class C felony, and was sentenced to four years in prison for that offense. The sentences will run concurrently. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine and court costs as well as a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Krizan Punished For Child Molesting
Jimmy Dale Krizan, 68, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to eight years in prison for child molesting, a Class C felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 372 days. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine and court costs and a child abuse prevention fee of $100.
