NORTH MANCHESTER – “Evidence of America’s Spiritual Heritage” featuring David Barton of WallBuilders will be shown in the Blocher Community Room at the North Manchester Public Library July 16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
If a picture is truly worth a thousand words, then what do the pictures, monuments, and great art of our nation’s capitol tell us about American history and our nation’s founders? Many visitors to the capitol would be shocked to discover that the faith of our founding fathers has been chiseled in stone throughout that great building.
What is the meaning behind some of our nation’s most baffling symbols, including the dollar bill’s “all-seeing eye” and the towering national monuments of Washington, D.C.? What happens to a society that forgets the truths and symbols of its own past? And why has this irrefutable evidence of our great spiritual heritage been covered up and forgotten? Discover little-known facts about our nation’s godly history in the American Heritage Series.
David Barton is the founder of WallBuilders, an organization dedicated to representing America’s forgotten history and heroes with an emphasis on our moral, religious, and constitutional heritage.
This series will be shown again on July 25 at 7 p.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship, 112 W. Main St., North Manchester, if you are unable to attend.
TruthSeekers examines current events from a Biblical worldview and is an outreach of Victory Bookstore. Public is invited. No admission charge. For further information call 260-982-8317.
Full Life Crusade Donates MP3s
Full Life Crusade has been able to donate 600 Russian audio Bibles on MP3 players to Pastor John B. Lowe II. These Bibles are going to be dedicated this coming Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at New Life Church, Warsaw.
Lowe has invited Wesley Smith to help dedicate them and pray over them before they are carried by his team to Ukraine. When he mentioned on his website that the first 600 pastors to register would receive a free audio Bible, another 300 pastors quickly signed up. The hunger for God's Word over there is intense. Pray with us that we will be able to send the full 900 that are needed.
Come Sunday morning to the dedication and learn how you can become involved in taking the gospel to the nations.
FLC sent 1,000 audio Bibles to China a few weeks ago. Our contact over there just emailed and said his team is placing them into the hands of trusted pastors who will then share them with entire churches. The Chinese T-Box can actually be heard by 50 to 75 people. Only in heaven will we discover how many lives have been touched for eternity. With more than 100 million believers in China the need for God's Word is enormous – every three seconds a soul is being born again in the People's Republic of China. FLC began taking teams there in 1980 and were the first group of Bible couriers to enter the country. They have taken 60 teams to China.
