Church Break-Ins Likely Connected, Police Say

At 7:42 a.m., police responded to a report of a burglary at Living Stone Church, East Center Street, Warsaw.[[In-content Ad]]An employee of the church stated that guitars and other musical equipment were taken from the church, estimated at $3,800.
Less than an hour and a half later, WPD received a call from St. Anne's Episcopal Church at 9:01 a.m. of a break-in and theft.
An employee of St. Anne's stated a laptop computer and a video camera had been taken from the church. The total estimated value from the items taken from St. Anne's was $1,750.
"Based on the time frame, they're more than likely connected," said WPD detective Tony Faucett.
Faucett said there were no suspect descriptions as of this morning.
At 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Warsaw Baptist Church, Fisher Avenue, reported a burglary and damage to nine doors along with a padlock.
Police are still investigating whether Sunday's burglary ties into the two Friday morning.
