They were married in Wooster, Ohio, March 20, 1954, in the home of the bride's parents.
David was inducted into the U.S. Army Nov. 1, 1950, transfered to USAR Sept. 31, 1952, and was discharged from the Army Dec. 4, 1956. He retired from Weatherhead Tool in Columbia City.
Nancy retired from RR Donnelley & Sons. They also farmed David’s family farm for 40 years.
They were blessed with three children: Janet Calhoun, Arcola; Paul Church, Derby, Kan.; and Bob Church, Marshfield, Wis. They have eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
They family is hosting an anniversary open house for David and Nancy Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Warsaw New Harvest Church of the Nazarene, 1654 Fisher Ave., Warsaw.
