Doris Christner will turn 90 Thursday.

Doris Jane Meeder was born March 15, 1922, in New Brighton, Pa., to Henry E. and Charlotte S. Meeder.

Upon graduation from Glen-Nor High School in 1940, she began working at the Pennsylvania Railroad in Philadelphia. She then married and moved to the Warsaw area, where she has lived for 55 years. She worked at Corporation, then R.R. Donnelley & Sons, working in quality for 27 years. She also worked as an aide for Warsaw Community School’s transportation department. She is now retired, enjoying crossword puzzles, reading and any type of sports on TV. She is a member of Walnut Creek Church.

She is the mother of Wayne Christner and Sheri Christner-Krichbaum, both of Warsaw.[[In-content Ad]]
