NORTH MANCHESTER - Chester A. Renicker, 89, of North Manchester, died at 1 p.m. July 3, 2010, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

He was born May 15, 1921, in Flint, Mich., to Eldo M. and Martha S. Skiles Renicker. On Oct. 25, 1940, he married Martha E. Wray, who died Sept. 21, 2007.

He retired from Zimmer Inc., Warsaw, in 1983. He was a member of Old German Baptist Brethren, North Manchester.

Surviving are two daughters, Marieta (and spouse Tom) Steele and Donna Mae Renicker, all of North Manchester, three brothers: Alfred (and spouse Florence) Renicker, Anderson; Dallas (and spouse Sandra) Renicker, Rogers, Ariz.; R.J. (and spouse Marilyn) Renicker, Rossville; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and two infant sisters.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester, with Home Brethren officiating. Burial will be in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the church.

DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
