Cher's Tour Coming To Allen County

FORT WAYNE – Cher’s 2014 North American “D2K Tour” will stop at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27 with special guests Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.
Tickets will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com/acwmc, the Memorial Coliseum Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets and charge-by-phone at 800-745-300.
Cher’s previous tour, “The Farewell Tour,” later dubbed “The Never Can Say Goodbye Tour,” was one of the most successful tours ever by a solo artist and played for a record-breaking 325 dates and was seen by over 5.5 million people.
According to a press release from the coliseum, “Cher has proven to be a woman of all traits by being an Academy Award, Grammy and Golden Globe award winner. Cher is more than just an award winner and musician, she is a director, documentarian, author and humanitarian. For almost 50 years Cher has been an international superstar and is the only artist to have a number one song in six decades.”
Cher recently released the single "Woman's World" from her first album in 12 years “Closer To The Truth.” “Woman's World,” an anthem about women being strong, reached number one on the billboard club play chart.
