ARGOS - Charlotte E. Warner, 86, of 3762 W. Old 30, Warsaw, and formerly of Argos, died at 10:23 a.m. Feb. 8, 2008, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw.

She was born March 17, 1921, in Goodland, to Lawrence L. and Jessie M. Mallory Bennett. On June 4, 1939, in Culver, she married Glenn B. Warner, who survives.

She lived in Warsaw for four years, after 51 years in the Argos community. She was a homemaker and a teller at Lake City Bank, retiring in 1986. She attended the Christian Church, Argos, now the Argos Bible Church, and was a 1939 Culver High School graduate.

Also surviving are four daughters: Karen Smith and Denice Albertson, both of Warsaw; Marsha Holland, New Palestine; and Leah Johnson, Argos; a son, Jan Burns Warner, North Manchester; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight siblings and a daughter.

Services were Monday at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with Evelyn Taylor Haney officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Burr Oak Cemetery.
