NAPPANEE – Charles Edward Moneyheffer, 91, of 29078 CR 50, Nappanee, died at 4:07 p.m. Feb. 5, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, where he was admitted Dec. 12, 2011.

He was born Jan. 8, 1921, in Kosciusko County, to Samuel and Barbara Davidhizer Moneyheffer. His wife, Marjorie Moneyheffer, survives.

He was a driver for Huffman Bakery, farmed, owned a grocery route, worked for Willie’s Construction and retired from Superior, Nappanee. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Elkhart, and attended Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa.

Also surviving are a daughter, Elaine (and spouse Vernon) Blucker, Goshen; a granddaughter; two great-granddaughters; two great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a brother, John (and spouse Betty) Moneyheffer, Leesburg; and a sister, Barbara (and spouse Lloyd) Truex, Davie, Fla. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. David Harper officiating. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.

Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
