Charges Filed In Syracuse Knife Incident

SYRACUSE - Burglary and theft charges have been levied against a man involved in a Saturday morning incident where another man's throat was cut.

Jason Thorn, 23, of 4928 N. CR 375E, Warsaw, was charged with burglary and theft and held on $20,000 bond in Kosciusko County Jail today.

Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department responded at 5:48 a.m. Saturday to a call of a man with his throat cut at 9874 E. Circle Drive South, Syracuse.

Michael A. Garman, 24, advised he was sleeping in the residence and woke up to his throat being cut. Garman stated he knew the two men who assaulted him.

Another suspect, who is believed to have actually attacked Garman, is still being sought by law enforcement. The other suspect, whose name police have to yet to release, also has been charged with burglary, theft and battery.
