Monika Cechankova and Neal DeTurk were married May 19, 2007, at The Inn at Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach, Calif., with the Rev. kate O'Brien officiating. She is the daughter of Miroslav Cechanek, Hayward, Calif., and Marie Kotrlova, Czech Republic, and he is the son of Jerry and Darlene DeTurk, Warsaw, and Carol Shaw, Hubert, N.C.
Maid of honor was Marilyn Isaac, El Cerito, Calif.
Best man was Ryan Shimasaki, Columbia City, California.
A reception was held at Peppoli Restaurant, The Inn at Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach, Calif.
The bride is employed as an accountant at Knox Ricksen LLP, Oakland, Calif. She is a 1993 graduate of Economy High School, Czech Republic and currently is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cal State Universtiy East Bay, Hayward, Calif.
The groom is a manufacturing engineer at Autocam Medical, Hayward, Calif. He is a 1995 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received a bachelor's degree in manufacturing technonogy from ITT Technical Institute in 1998.
