BERNE - Catherine J. "Katy" Fosnaugh, 91, a longtime resident of Linn Grove, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Jan. 13, 2011, at the Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

She was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Adams County, to John and Clara Chrisman Pearson, both deceased. On Nov. 27, 1943, she married Fred Fosnaugh, who died in 1988.

She was a member of Living Water United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Ladies Aide. She formerly worked at CTS Corp., Berne, retiring after 25 years of service. She collected angels and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are a her daughter, Carole (and spouse Bruce) Mann, Monroe; two daughters, Peggy (and spouse Robert) Diek, Fort Wayne, and Sandra (and spouse Richard) Courson, Warsaw; two grandchildren; a step-grandchild; five step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Lawrence Pearson, and six sisters, Goldie Schott, Edith Pearson, Alta Pearson, Marie Hapill, Louise Martin and Irene Johns.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, with Lay Minister John F. Habegger officiating. Burial will be in Six-Mile Cemetery, rural Bluffton.

Calling is from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
