She was born May 27, 1933, in Burket, to Hershel and Wilma Floor Loher. On Oct. 24, 1953, in Warsaw, she married Dana Robert Bowers, who died June 21, 2008.
She was a retired bookkeeper at Bowen Service Center on Argonne Road, Warsaw. She was a resident of Kosicusko County for more than 40 years. She was a past member of Leesburg Grace Brethren Church, Leesburg.
Survivors include a daughter, Sheryl (and spouse Mike) Johnson, Warsaw; a son, Daryl Bowen, Alabama; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. May 2 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Tim Sprankle officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
No calling is planned.
