SYRACUSE – Carol J. Geiger, 80, of Nappanee, and formerly of Milford, died at 6:25 p.m. May 21, 2013, in Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
She was born March 29, 1933, in Nappanee, to Charles A. and Wanda E. Rollins Weisser. On May 24, 1970,  in Milford, she married Robert Kaiser, who died in June 1980. On July 20, 1985, in Nappanee, she married Robert E. “Bob” Geiger, who survives.
She lived most of her life in the Milford/Nappanee area and graduated from Milford High School in 1951. She retired from Milford Family Physicians after 25 years as a receptionist and bookkeeper and formerly worked at First National Bank, Warsaw, for 13-1/2 years.
She was a member of Living Gospel Church, Nappanee, Wawasee Camp of Gideon’s International Auxiliary, Syracuse, and worked with Lakeland Child Evangelism Ministries, Warsaw.
Also surviving are four stepdaughters: Donna Madison and Rose (and spouse Brock) Rose, all of Goshen; Amy (and spouse Jeff) Martin, Wakarusa; and Jean Miller, of Indianapolis; two stepsons, Grant (and spouse Karla) Geiger, New Paris, and Steven (and spouse Joyce) Kaiser,  Milford; 13 step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, LeeAnn (and spouse William) Gladieux, Fort Wayne, and Joyce (and spouse Jim) Warren, Granger.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Living Gospel Church, Nappanee, with the Revs. Mike Roasch and Dave Soliday officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse.
