She was born April 14, 1953, in Warsaw, to Andrew David and Addie Blanton Tackett. On Dec. 4, 1999, in Warsaw, she married Anthony “Tony” Griffith, who died Nov. 22, 2004.
She worked at Dalton Foundries for 17 years as a towmotor driver, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed bingo, making crafts, painting and crocheting.
Surviving are three daughters: Michelle Hall, Pierceton; Stacy (and spouse Todd) Deeter, Ligonier; Clara Rogers, Milford; one stepson, Shawn Griffith, Pierceton; five sisters: Mandy Claubaugh, Huntington; Faye Brunner, New Palestine; Polly (and spouse Monroe) Allen, Packerton; Kathleen (and spouse James) Griffith and Geraldine Blair, both of Warsaw; three brothers: Ray Tackett, Otway, Ohio; Hargus (and spouse Evelyn) Tackett, Warsaw; Frank (and spouse Beverly) Tackett, South Whitley; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her father, who died Feb. 8, 1998; her mother, who died Feb. 6, 1987; three sisters: Marie Heeter, Martha Shepherd and Pauline Tackett; and three brothers: Leo, Harkless and Charlie Tackett.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Pastor Lewis Quiros, Victory Christian Center, Warsaw, officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
