Editor, Times-Union:
A recent library column made a statement that I question. It said there were only three Carnegie libraries still functioning in Kosciusko County and listed Warsaw, Syracuse, and a third one I forget. Seems like is said Cromwell, but that couldn’t have been it because Cromwell isn’t in Kosciusko County.
Well, anyway, getting back to my point, the Pierceton Library was built as a Carnegie library and is still operating. (A Pierceton librarian told me this in the 1960s.)
