SYRACUSE - Carman S. Danner, 68, Leesburg, died at 8:55 a.m. June 5, 2009, at her home.

She was born Dec. 8, 1940, in Warsaw, to Bill E. and Evelyn Rose Salmon Brower. On Sept. 7, 1957, in Pierceton, she married Dale A. Danner, who died Feb. 26, 2008.

She was a lifetime North Webster/Leesburg area resident and attended North Webster High School. She retired from the Kosciusko County Courthouse in the surveyor's office in 2005. She was a member of Warsaw Community Church; American Legion Auxiliary Post 253, North Webster; Red Hat Ladies Society, Syracuse; and the former Pythian Sister's Card Group, North Webster.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen (and spouse Scott) Brandel, Leesburg, and Kimberly (and spouse Bernie) Wilson, Warsaw; a son, Phillip (and spouse Robin) Danner, Cromwell; six grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; five step-great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Chris Brower, Topeka, and Kent (and spouse Sandy) Brower, Mansfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
