Adams Earns Dean’s List
LIMA, Ohio – The University of Northwestern Ohio announced Travis A. Adams, Akron, has made the Dean’s List for the February 2014 session in the College of Applied Technologies.
Full-time students must receive a grade point average of 3.5 or higher to be named to the Dean’s List.
He is the son of Craig and Tiffany Adams, Akron.

Vogel In Symposium
FINDLAY, Ohio – Jacob Vogel, North Manchester, participated in The University of Findlay’s Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity April 2.
Held on campus, undergraduate and graduate students were given the opportunity to share their research, creativity and professional learning experiences with the university and community. More than 300 students participated.

Locals On Biola Dean’s List
LA MIRADA, Calif. – The following local residents were among 1,594 students named to Biola University’s fall 2013 Dean’s List for academic excellence:
• Alisa Gross, resident of Pierceton
• Stephanie Henning, resident of Warsaw
Biola students are placed on the Dean’s List to honor those with a grade point average of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 of more credit units and whose cumulative grade point average is at least a 3.2. This past fall, 25 percent of Biola students achieved this academic goal.

Lakey Graduates Training
Air Force Airman Nicolas R. Lakey graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Lakey is the son of Derria K. and Tim R. Lakey, Leesburg. He is a 2008 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.[[In-content Ad]]
