Joanne Ellen Campbell and Eric Mitchell Prater were married at 6 p.m. Aug. 1, 2009, in Casa Marina Hotel, Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

The bride's parents are Kenneth Hallatt and Debbie Hallatt, both of Atlantic Beach, Fla. The groom's parents are Norman Prater and Kathy Prater.

Matron of honor was Kayleigh Hallatt, Atlantic Beach. Bridesmaids were Amanda Morse, Lisa While, Kristen and Kelsey Turban, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Christina Price, Wilmington, N.C. Flower girl was Haley Price, Wilmington.

Best man was David Reese, Akron, groomsmen were Austin and Greg Prater, both of Akron; Nick Moore, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Jordan Howard, Indianapolis. The ring bearer was Ethan Prater, Cincinnatti.

Ushers were Ross Campbell, Atlantic Beach, and Brandon Butler, Indianapolis.

The reception was in Casa Marina, Jacksonville Beach.

The bride is a student. She graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher, Jacksonville Beach, in 2002, and Florida State College of Jacksonville Education in 2006.

The groom is a senior financial analyst at General Electric, Cincinnati. He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron, in 2009. He graduated from Purdue University in 2003, studying finance.

The couple resides in Cincinnati.

There will be an open house at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Prater residence, 1509 S. 925E, Akron.
