Homer and Janice Campbell were married Jan. 29, 1939, in Leesburg, by the Rev. Fred Wilde.

Homer attended Atwood School and Janice attended Oswego and Leesburg schools.

He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from Koontz-Wagner Electric Co., South Bend, in 1982. She was a homemaker.

They spent their married life in the Atwood vicinity except for the past two years, which were spent in Arbor Glen, Fort Wayne. They recently moved to Miller's Merry Manor apt. 21.

They have three children: Sharilyn Anthony, Clearwater, Fla.; Nancy Marks, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and Dan (and spouse Linda), Fort Wayne; two granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate their anniversary with family at a later date.
