Mr. and Mrs. Chad Burkhart, Claypool, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary March 24, 2011.

Chad and Martha Avo were married March 24, 1951, in Warsaw, with Judge Walter Brubaker officiating.

The couple have five children: David Burkhart, Larry Burkhart, Brenda Haywood, Wayne Burkhart and the late Taylor Douglas Burkhart; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration reception is being held in their honor Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Claypool United Methodist Church, Church Street.

Everyone is welcome to join in on the celebration.
