Bryan D. Saving ELKHART – Bryan D. Saving, 50, Fishers, passed away April 8, 2015, at home. He was born March 5, 1965, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Donald F.W. Jr. and Karen Winkler Saving. He was a 1983 graduate of Whitko High School, South Whitley. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service at the rank of master sergeant. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a supervisor of security support with the Department of Defense, Indianapolis. He loved his country, and through his military career became a world traveler. He was an Indianapolis Colts fan, played the guitar and loved his children and grandchildren. Surviving are three daughters: Sage Larson, North Beach, Md.; Marielle (and spouse Travis) Winkelman, Ledyard Center, Conn.; and Alexis Suarez, Fishers; a son, Michael Saving, Fishing; three grandchildren, Taylor, Tianna and Trey; two sisters, Bonnie (and spouse Gail) Blaugh, Columbia City, and Rhonda (and Scot Moody) Watson, Elkhart; and his mother, Karen Jefferson, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Saving, and stepfather, Edwin Jefferson. Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor David Mommens, St. John Lutheran Church, Columbia City, officiating. Burial is in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, with military graveside honors conducted by Warsaw American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126.
