SYRACUSE - Brenda Sue Stamper, 59, of Cromwell, died March 27, 2011.

She was born Feb. 17, 1952, in Elkhart, to Burlin and Alethea Haggerty. On Aug. 25, 1983, she married Donald J. Stamper, who survives.

She was a lifetime area resident.

Also surviving are a daughter, Birdie Stamper Atchison; three stepchildren: Mark (and spouse Beverly) Stamper, DJ (and spouse Teresa) Stamper and Kassie (and spouse Dale) Tennant; two grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by a son, her parents, a brother and two sisters.

No services are planned.

Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
