She was born July 4, 1952, to Dale and Beverly Blackford.
Surviving are her father, Dale (and spouse Deloris) Blackford, Tippecanoe; a daughter, Krista (and spouse Jeff) Simms, North Liberty; a stepdaughter, Misty (and spouse Janssen) May, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Jessica, Rachel and Philip Simms; three step-grandchildren: Jacob, Taylor and Aaron May; and three sisters: Marsha (and spouse Ed) Miller, Deborah Blackford and Lisa (and spouse Timothy) Kreft, all of Tippecanoe. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Church of the Brethren, 5975 19th Road, Argos, with Pastor Bob Rice and Larry Kreft officiating. She chose to donate her body to the I.U. School of Medicine.[[In-content Ad]]
