BOW Approves Krebs Trailhead Restroom Facility Bid

Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety Wednesday approved a bid for the Krebs Trailhead Restroom facility on McKinley Street.
The $36,055 bid was awarded to Butt & Timmons Construction Inc. to do the construction work on the facility.
Board member Jeff Grose made the motion for the bid, seconded by board member Charlie Smith.
The project includes a restroom building, concrete walkways and an asphalt parking lot.
The board approved new salaries for Building and Planning Department administrative assistants Zannie Powell at $16.43 an hour and Kim Arnold at $17.24 an hour.
Warsaw Police Department Patrol Officer Ross Minear was approved to receive a $1,710.59 bi-weekly salary.
The board also approved an engineering contract not to exceed $38,000 between the Warsaw Wastewater Treatment Utility Facility and Jones & Henry Engineering.
Jones & Henry will demolish the former wastewater plant at 794 W. Center St. as a new station has been built.[[In-content Ad]]
