With a reputation as a leading manufacturer of industrial x-ray equipment, the company is headquartered out of Italy, home of owner Fabio Bosello.
And while Bosello has more than 140 x-ray units in the U.S., the company is intent on expanding stateside.
In April 2010, an office in McElroy Industrial Park, Warsaw, was opened.
There, Chris Owens serves as the U.S. officer manager.
Owens had previous experience working with Bosello equipment at a previous job in the area.
“The nicest thing is that in this economic climate, you actually have a foreign company coming in and investing in the United States,” said Owens.
The company’s 10-year plan at its Warsaw location includes adding more employees and capabilities at its 6,500-square-foot facility on Executive Drive near Danco Anodizing.
Bosello has had a U.S. presence since 1992, with most of its sales going to the automotive industry.
“We also do some aerospace, some military and hopefully some orthopedic,” said Owens of his company being situated in the Orthopedic Capital of the World.
On Wednesday afternoon, Bosello hosted a Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event as well as a ribbon cutting.
Owens said that despite being open for more than a year, with the business’s schedule it hadn’t had the chance to really introduce itself to the community yet.
Owens, along with North American sales manager Moreno Savio, were on hand to give tours to local business and civic leaders who made it to the event.
