NORTH MANCHESTER - Bonnie R. Dixon, 77, formerly of Frost Proof, Fla.; and Laketon, died at 8:45 a.m. March 6, 2008, in Menorah Hospital South, Overland Park, Kan.
She was born May 5, 1930, in Mentone, to Harry A. and Florence A. Eckman Shafer. On June 11, 1950, she married Ronald "Gabby" Dixon, who survives.
She was employed with Heckman Bindery as a bench sew for 20 years, retiring in 1990.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis Ray Dixon, Fort Wayne, and Donald Jay Dixon, Thomason, Ga.; a daughter, Deborah Kay (and spouse William) Prather, Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Doris Kyle, Lafayette; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No calling is planned. A graveside service at Laketon Cemetery, Laketon, is planned for a later date.
