NORTH MANCHESTER - Bonnie A. Bergerson, 84, of Edwardsburg, Mich., died at 1:09 p.m. Feb. 21, 2008, in Silverbrook Manor, Niles, Mich.

She was born May 16, 1923, in Sidney, to Walter C. and Mary E. Hodson DeLaughter. On March 29, 1943, she married Orville Goodrich, who died Jan. 13, 1976. On Dec. 24, 1985, she married Russell E. Bergerson, who survives.

She was a member of First Church of God, Edwardsburg, a piano teacher and an antique dealer.

Also surviving are a son, David (and spouse Kathleen Pettijean) Goodrich, Mishawaka; three daughters: Cynthia (and spouse Lawrence R.) LaFollette, Albion; Martha (and spouse Wayne) Short, Wichita, Kan.; and Betty (and spouse Thomas) McKinney, South Bend; two stepsons, James (and spouse Jackie) Bergerson, Niles, and Jerry (and spouse Linda) Bergerson, Elkhart; seven grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 6 p.m. today at First Church of God, Edwardsburg, with Pastor John Lohr officiating. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester, with Pastor Chad McAtee officiating.

Calling is from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the church, with a meal following the service, and from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester.
