Working together, Warsaw's Bone City Rollers derby team was able to collect and spend more than $800 on presents for nine kids, their siblings and parents for their "Christmas with the Bone City Rollers" cause. The roller derby team delivered the packages Christmas week after taking nominations from families experiencing a medically challenging year.  BCR values helping people in their community and they made a call out this holiday season to brighten Christmas for those who could use a little extra help. In 2015, BCR volunteered 589 hours and donated $4,608 to the Kosciusko community. Their goal was to give more than they did in their first year and they almost doubled those numbers. Helping each other and the community is the heart of the Bone City Rollers derby team.
Next month, the Bone City Rollers plan to raise over $650 for Special Olympics with the 2016 Polar Plunge.
