Blunt Force Trauma Killed Murder Victim, Wabash Coroner Says

NORTH MANCHESTER -ÊA coroner's report released last week confirmed the death of a North Manchester man July 12 was homicide.
Leodegario M. Rodriguez, 30, was found dead in his mobile home at 301 S. Mill St., North Manchester, around 4 p.m. July 12.
According to the coroner's report, Rodriguez's death was caused by a skull fracture from a blow to the back of his head. The coroner believes the death occurred around 10 a.m. July 12, the day his body was found.
Rodriguez's body was found by a neighbor around 4 p.m. the day of his death.
A suspect and motive has not been determined in the crime.
The murder is North Manchester's first since 1989 and remains under investigation by the North Manchester Police Department and the Indiana State Police.
