Billy “Bill” R. Wallen, 68, Warsaw, passed away at 8:20 p.m. Sept. 29, 2015, in Auburn.
He was born June 7, 1947, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Claude and Mae Green Wallen. On June 28, 1997, he married Patricia McClone, who survives in Churubusco.
He graduated from Prestonsburg High School in 1965. He worked for Zimmer, in Warsaw, for 25 years, and later retired from RR Donnelley in 2010. He was a member and Elder of Warsaw Family Worship Center.
Also surviving are: two daughters, Melissa (and spouse Charles) Chappell, Winona Lake; and Melanie Wallen, Warsaw; one step-son, Thad (and spouse Shannon), Albion; and one step-daughter, Tara McClone, Palestine; three brothers: Claude (and spouse Martha) Wallen, Warsaw, Charles (and spouse Carolyn) Wallen, McDowell, Ky.; and Don (and spouse Terri) Wallen, Pikeville, Ky.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty Jo Ramey.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 3, 2015, at Warsaw Family Worship Center with pastor and long-time friend William Whitaker officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Warsaw Family Worship Center.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
