The team from Warsaw Community High School won the 31st annual Big Wally Eating Contest March 24 at the Detroit Street Penguin Point. Monday morning, Penguin Point Division Manager David K. Meier presented the team and WCHS with the traveling trophy. The high school also received a check for $200 for its prom fund. WCHS's team beat teams from Wawasee and Tippecanoe Valley for the prize. 'It was a lot of fun. Good stuff. Free food,' said Michael Mannan, WCHS senior.
