It was interesting to read the articles last week from Natasha (trail graffiti), Shelley(stolen bikes), Bonnie (Careless Driver), and Fred (cycling). I am an avid cyclist, and I love riding here in Kosciusko County. For the most part, it is beautiful and safe. But we have our share of disrespectful people, thoughtless people and thieves. But they are not the majority.
The more bikes on the road, the more people will be aware of them. The more cyclist obey Indiana bicycle laws, and are courteous to drivers, the more the drivers are apt to be courteous to the cyclist. Get on your bikes, ride with your family, enjoy all that is offered on these beautiful backroads. Ride safely and be courteous. On June 6, North Webster is having a St. Jude Bike ride with a 12, 25, and a 55 mile tour. Please join us and see what you might be missing. More information can be found at: www.northwebster.com/bike.htm
See you on the road.
