Bicycle Friendly Status Presentation Set in Warsaw

A presentation and application submission for Warsaw and Winona Lake to be Bicycle Friendly Communities will be made this month.

The event is Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Mad Anthony’s Lake City Tap House in Warsaw.

Those who attend will hear a presentation on the Bicycle Friendly plan For Warsaw and Winona Lake.

The goal of a Bicycle Friendly Community is to provide dedicated areas for safe bike and pedestrian routes.

Kosciusko Velo Cycling Club has been working to apply for Warsaw and Winona Lake to obtain Bicycle Friendly status through the League of American Bicyclists.

KVCC will submit its application to the league for the status at 8 p.m.

There will be door prizes and a raffle for a bike.
