Mike and the former Carol Hunley were married April 14, 1968, at Fish Lake Lutheran Church by the Rev. Arbill.
Mike retired from driving truck in 2008.
Carol works in individual care at Cardinal Services.
The couple have two children, the late Timothy “Tim” Bickel, and Tracy (and spouse Kevin) Johnson, Leesburg; and two grandchildren.
They will celebrate with immediate family followed by a weekend getaway to Michigan.
