Beverly Ann Blood, 76, of 1728 N. CR 175E, Warsaw, died at 11:50 a.m. Jan. 5, 2008, in Grace Village Rehabilitation, Winona Lake.

She was born Dec. 4, 1931, in DeKalb County, to Marlton and Daisy Tritch Shumaker. She was married to Robert Blakeley for 16 years, who survives. She married Kenn Blood, who died in 1978.

She retired as a psychologist for the Warsaw Community School system. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees and a doctorate in education from Ball State University, Muncie.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen (and spouse Robert) Turnbull, Fort Wayne, and Annice (and spouse Ron) Casey, Lafayette; two sons, Rex (and spouse Lori) Church, Muncie, and Max Church, Indianapolis; a step-daughter, Melissa Culbertson, LaPorte; a sister, Jean Reinoehl; a brother, Heber Shumaker; ex-husband, Jay Church, Muncie; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.

Services and burial will be private.

No calling is planned.
