NORTH WEBSTER – Betty Rose Coughlin, 90, Albion, passed away at 6:20 p.m. July 29, 2015, at North Ridge Village Nursing Home, Albion.
She was born Aug.10, 1924, in Etna, to Cletus C. and Thelma E. Wheeler Stump. In 1941, she married Marvin Earl Kuhn, who preceded her in death. In 1970, she married James Coughlin, who preceded her in death in July 1985.
She lived most of her life in Whitley, Noble and Kosciusko counties. She attended Washington Center School in Cromwell and Wolf Lake High School.
She retired in 1984 from Superior Sample in Ligonier after 11 years of service and formerly worked at Plax (Monsanto) in Ligonier.
She formerly Attended Trinity Assembly of God in Ligonier.
Survivors are, two daughters: Marvena Kay (and spouse David) Blanchard, Maumee, Ohio; and Angela Fay Deck, Garrett; two sons: Eddie L. (and spouse Sandra) Kuhn, North Webster; and Danny D. (and spouse Dorene) Kuhn, Cromwell; 16 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Larry S. “Buck” Kuhn; and two brothers, John and Bill Stump.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, with Mike McDonald of the Church of Christ in Millersburg, officiating. Burial is in Thorn Cemetery near Kimmel.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
