PEORIA, Ariz. - Betty Jane Kotterman, 86, Desert Blossom Assisted Living, Peoria, Ariz., died July 24, 2008, in her residence.

She was born Aug. 21, 1921, in Wabash County, to Albert and Hazel Bahney Schipper. On Oct. 26, 1944, she married Cecil Kotterman, who preceded her in death.

She was retired from the U.S. Post Office, and a graduate of Gilead High School.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis Kotterman, Show Low, Ariz. and Marshall Kotterman, Glendale, Ariz.; a sister, Mary Ellen Shock, Tempe, Ariz.; and a brother, Leon Schipper, Akron. She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and a sister.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chapel Of The Chimes, Glendale.[[In-content Ad]]
