The couple was married Oct. 5, 1963, in Boekerton, Mo. They are the parents of two children: Cami (and spouse Thomas) Mechling, Nappanee; and Jerry Jr. (and spouse Dawn) Bethel, Indianapolis; and the grandparents of two children, Benjamin and Lucas Mechling.
An open house will be hosted by their children from 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Milford Community Building.
